Miami Valley Ride Finder
This directory-based site allows visitors to search for rides under a variety of criteria, making it simple and easy to find transportation.
The blog functionality allows people within the Miami Valley area to "stay connected without driving" by providing news and updates on related topics.
We were asked to do this project because of our Midcoast RideFinder website. Both RideFinder websites offer blog functionality and a directory geared towards people needing transportation in their respected areas. A grant made this project possible by allowing the funding for and ability to develop this website for the Miami Valley areas.
Staying Connected with Ride Finder
With over 15 locations to choose from, finding a ride is easy - especially with the browsing menus located right on the homepage. Ride type can also be selected in order to get the best results from the directory. The history behind Miami Valley Ride Finder can be found on this website in addition to other resources that could come in handy for someone travelling in the Miami Valley area. We used a blog format for these resources in order to improve navigation and knowledge about this program.Tagged As:
